Copeland, Tina
I would like to have Relay for Life sponsored to help find a cure for breast cancer and I work at functions when I have nothing else planned plus I bake desserts to have for people and enjoy them. I have been a member since April 2005.

Eberly, Marge
I work on the food line and the floor plus the dessert line. I enjoy doing the dinners and I enjoy meeting the people and friends. I participate in the Veterans Walk-A-Thon. I have been a member since March of 2006.

King, Nancy
I have been an active part-time salesperson selling Real Estate in Tioga County for over 35 years. Born and raised in Candor, I have a broad view on rural and farm property values in the area. I'm very involved in my community. I am currently Deputy Mayor of Candor, serving on it's board for over the past ten years. My volunteer work includes: Sunday School Teacher, hand bell ringer in the choir at my church, and serving on the board of the Candor Fire Company Auxiliary. In my "spare time" I enjoy cake decorating, and being with my grandchildren. My husband Tom and I have been married for 41 years and I feel that my greatest accomplishments have been my four children, Noelle, Thomas, Alison, and Danielle. I'm a member of the Ithaca Board of Realtors, New York State and National Association of Realtors.

Owens, Linda
I am on the executive committee and I am one of the property managers. I help with all of our functions by prepping food for the dinner. I have been a member since October of 2006.

Russell, James
I joined the fire department in February of 1964 and have seen many bad fires in the years of service. I have been the school crossing guard for 3+ years. I also have done Meals on Wheels for the Department of Aging for 15+ years. I like to do living history with the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War. This is my first year as historian for the Candor Fire Company Auxiliary. I have been a member since October 2007.

Russell, Vivian
I worked for the Ithaca College for twenty-six years. I like to knit and to crochet. I was voted in as Vice President in January 2008. I have been a member since April of 1992. I like to do living history with the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War. I used to be the historian for the Candor Fire Company Auxiliary.

Shaylor, Christina
Hi! Thanks for visiting our website. I'm a 16 year old, high school JUNIOR! I am the secretary of the Candor Fire Company Auxiliary. I have been the historian for nearly 4 years! I love helping out the fire fighters in any way needed. They do their best to help the community and I feel it is my part to help them. I love web design. I've designed this site as well as the Candor Chamber of Commerce's Website! <--- CHECK IT OUT! I love helping raise money to find a cure for cancer. I've been a member since October 27, 2004!

Shaylor, Joyce
My idea of the Auxiliary is to support the firefighters. I come to the Station when the alarm sound for a fire, accident, etc. I make food and coffee for their return.  I help the auxiliary do fundraisers. The money raised goes for cleaning supplies, paper products, food on every fire call and Thursday nights, and classes that the state requires the fire fighters to take. We donated money to the food pantry, Relay for Life, Red Kettle Association, American Legion Veterans Walk-A-Thon plus we are working on our building project. It has taken us a long time, but I am confident that we will be building it soon! I have been a member since February 2002. I am the secretary for the Candor Chamber of Commerce. I have been their secretary for three years. I worked with Pete's Tree Service for 23 years before it burnt. I love meeting all the people that come to our events. They all are like family to me.

Walp, Patricia
I am a life long Candorite. I was inspired to join the Auxiliary because of Joyce and Christina Shaylor. Her dedication and belief in supporting our fire fighters inspired me to give back to my community. We take so many of our volunteers for granted in our community. Many of them have given endless to the town and village of Candor. I asked her what was needed and she put me to work. I joined the Auxiliary in January of 2008. I have other talents like sewing, bead work, and computers. I also found out I am good at serving food, busing dishes, washing dishes, and whatever else Joyce needs to be done!

Wilding, Nicholas
I have been the historian for 2+ years. Usually at dinners, you can find me on the floor serving drinks and/or cleaning tables, you may also find me on the serving line. I joined the fire department in December of 2007 to help others since I almost life my life when I was younger to a fire. That inspired me to become a firefighter when I was older. I am a 2nd year criminal justice major. I am walking in the Veterans Walk-A-Thon in honor of my uncle who served in the United States Coast Guard.
